Book trade

The term book trade is a collective name for all of the processes and facilities in the production, distribution, and reception of books. If the term is used in the sense of a cross-sectional science consisting of various disciplines, it involves various areas such as typography, theory of manuscripts and incunabula, techniques of printing, illustration, and reproduction, bibliophily, bibliography, as well as library science, publishing, and distribution chains.
